Valdosta Media Great At Keeping General Public Deaf, Dumb, and Blind! (Health Care Reform Town Hall Meeting Aug 4, 2009)

Once again our local media (Television, and Newspapers) left citizens deaf, dumb, and blind to what took place at Republican Representative Jack Kingston Town Hall meeting on Health Care Reform in Valdosta, Georgia on August 4, 2009.

They did an excellent job of mind control by excluding Mr. Jim Parker’s fight with Colon Cancer as he shared with the audience. However the times failed to include his story although it was perhaps the most important medical issue medical issue to take place at the meeting from a citizen.

Mr. Jim Parker raised valid questions concerning health care and explained his individual hardship in his fight against cancer? But apparently his words were a joke to our local media outlets.

However Rep. Kingston took great passion and gave Mr. Parker time to get through his tears and tell his story with the people in the audience, and I as a democrat was grateful to Rep. Kingston for his passion.

I can only imagine why the times excluded Mr. Parker’s medical fight with cancer from the times article? Over, and over again it seems that there is a continuous effort to keep the general public in Valdosta deaf, dumb, and blind to the times for the purpose of mind control

And although it may be true that a picture is worth more valuable than a thousand words. But if there are no words explaining the picture then what good is the picture of Mr. Parker in the article?

So are we actually living in a Metropolitan City or just another little country town that we all are proud of? There have been some nineteen to twenty-seven deaths in our local jail since 1994 for whatever reason. Although this too was excluded from the article but at least representative Jack Kingston promised to follow-up on the situation. We as a community can do better….
